Rebetiko / Laiko / Tsifteteli
Meteora plays live rebetika (underground Greek music from the 1920s and onwards) and consists of Thomai Gkantiraga (guitar & vocals), Anna Gavanas (baglamas & vocals) and Peter Gavanas (bouzouki). From upbeat tsifteteli to deep grooves inspired by the mountains of Meteora and the streets of Exarcheia/ Athens.
